About JCC of Pinellas County

Blessing the JCCSince 1952, The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Pinellas County has been dedicated to serving Pinellas County by providing intergenerational programming for individuals and families, regardless of race, religion or creed.

The JCC currently offers a monthly program of a variety of activities to serve all ages and genders. Programming includes educational lectures, exercise classes, social outings and discussion groups.

One of the most enduring programs the JCC of Pinellas County offers, Camp Kadima, was developed and implemented in 1952. Kadima means “to go forward.” This six-week camp for children in kindergarten through fifth grade offers a variety of fun-filled educational, cultural, recreational and social experiences in a safe and controlled environment. Activities include swimming, gymnastics, drama, theater, cooking, sailing, karate, sports, games from Israel, arts and crafts, and 6 field trips to exciting local destinations.

The JCC has also developed specialized programming for Families, Young Professionals, Empty Nesters and Seniors.

Jewish Community CenterThe JCC of Pinellas County is considered a JCC "without walls." While many of our activities take place at our facility, we have also created partnerships with numerous organizations and agencies in Pinellas County to be able to offer additional programming in a variety of locations in the community. These affiliations include St. Petersburg College/Gibbs Campus, Philip Benjamin Tower, Temple Beth-El, Congregation B'nai Israel, Menorah Manor/Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center and Menorah Manor/Toby Weinman Assisted Living Facility.
